Miller & Kreisel THX SS150 MK II vs Arendal Sound 1961 SURROUND

Hi All,

I am currently looking to upgrade my MK K4 surround speakers and I am considering either of the following:

Miller & Kreisel THX SS150 MK II
Arendal Sound 1961 SURROUND

They are bot about the same price, admittedly the SS150 is second hand, and importantly the right dimensions.

I prefer the styling on the Arendal but I have not listened to either, from what I have read the SS150 THX was the best in class at the time of release.

My other speakers are XTZ Cinema M6 for LCR, XTZ S2 for heights and two 18" custom subs.

I am limited on space so can't fit the XTZ S5 surrounds.

Has anybody listened to both?

The 150s would be a better "fit" for the XTZ fronts, I feel in terms of tonal character; driver size and even looks.

Thanks, BlairH, in the end, my wife made the decision on the White Arendals as they fit the lounge better
