Hi, I've just bought a Mikonmi 5.1 home theatre system, the one in argos for 30quid.
Just one problem, I think it's intended for use with a PC as the audio ins are 3 jack sockets(front, rear and center and sub). Can I get round this using only 2 phonos?
Possible solution I have is to get a cable made that transfers 3 male jacks into one female jack. then just connect the jack socket to the 2 phonos in the back of the DVD player.
Would this work and is it possible? I can't find such a cable available on the net so may have to get someone to do some creative soldering.
Also I bought this to play my MP3 player through without needing my stereo, if I do the above solution and wire my mp3 player in with a male jack to male jack lead, that should work, right?
Basically, I need to wire 3 jacks into 2 phonos, how do I do it??
Any help greatly appreciated.
Oh and I don't think this has a decoder built in so Im aware that it wont produce true surround sound but the same sound from each speaker.
