    Hi Umar,

On page 2 of this lcd tv forum look for the thread "17 lcd" from treherne. Amongst the posts are mentions of this Mikomi tv and someone who has bought one gives his opinion. Also make a note of jon's informative post in which he mentioned Hitachi and Toshiba are very similar televisions to the Mikomi. Possibly they may have the same Sky codes if you decided to use yours with Sky.

    It certainly sounds good value.

just picked one of these up.

first impressions are very good. They didnt have one on display but took a chance.

    For £250.00 i think its a bargain.

Picture quality is very good and clear through RF and Scart for Sky.

Not plugged it into my dvd player yet and cant test to check the light issue that i have read about.

Need to find a code now for the sky remote - anyone have one??

    thanks

    Dal

    Hi Dal,

Those pictures are amazing. That television certainly was a bargain, you must be so delighted.

I saw your post about fixing it on the wall, can't help you there my d.i.y. skills are zilch.

Where are the inputs located? I was thinking of getting one and attaching it to a wall, but that might not be possible depending on the location of the "back panel AV socket" as Argos describe it.

    Cheers

Eventually got hold of one yesterday and fired up tonight.

    Its very good  .

Piped terrestrial and sky to it and its excellent BUT the picture is not as good as a CRT (its replacing a Sharp). But I'm nitpicking.

Looking very promising that it'll surpass my expectations with DVD.

    Happy AnilS. :D

Anyway, I got this TV the other day, and it is brilliant for the price. Perfect for a small area like a bedroom.

    Very good buy :D
