    The Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge (or simply Transporter Bridge) is the furthest downstream bridge across the River Tees. It connects Middlesbrough on the south bank to Port Clarence on the north bank. It is a transporter bridge, carrying a travelling 'car' or 'gondola' suspended from the bridge, across the river in 90 seconds. The car can carry 200 people, 9 cars or 6 cars and one minibus.

    Cracking shot. Got good memories of going across the bridge with my dad in a van when I was a nipper.

    I thought it had been sold and relocated to Arizona by a tribe of native Americans..!!!

    Cheers, I didn't know it was there. Going to take some pics of the ICI plant etc. and just came upon it. :)

    I've not seen darkr before thanks for that. Hadn't thought about printing it but it might look nice on a black mat.
