Microsoft Surface Book with Performance Base for sale.

This is in mint condition not a mark on it or the screen.

    Specs:
    3000x2000 resolution touch screen.
    Intel i7-6600u
    8GB RAM
    256GB SSD
Performance Base included, which has the bigger battery and a Nvidia Geforce 965m 2gb Graphics Card.
    2x USB 3.0
    SD CARD SLOT
    Mini Display Port
    Magnetic clip on charger

it's not needed anymore and it's just sat there gathering dust.
It's an amazing machine and the aimed at creativity. One of the most beautiful screens I've ever seen.

The tablet part can be detached from the base and it can also be flipped over and use on the base as a touch screen/tablet. (see pics)

Only thing missing is the Surface Pen, I will see if I can find it, if not they can be bought on ebay.
Looking for £800 this includes postage.

I do offer collection and I will also post first to high feedback members (I'm new here)

Hi, do you have any interest in a trade for a Scan 3XS gaming laptop, bought 3 weeks ago for £1440 plus cash my way?

I would have to ask you to post first and send the cash before I posted the laptop to you.

It it was trade the value will be more as I feel I've priced this very competiively. This spec machine is worth £1400 imo, so I would only look at a straight swap if I was interested. What is the specs?

Unfortuantely no :( they can be picked up for £30-60 on ebay though.

Thanks for the reply but I would not be interested in a straight trade.

No problem, depending on the spec of your machine I may offer some cash on top but it would only be around £100.

Edit: Just found your thread, yeah I think I'll just keep this as a straight sale. Would be only £100 I could offer though.

Hi, I might be interested in this but a couple of questions please?

What’s the difference between the repair warranty and the manufacturer warranty and how come one ends in October and the other ends in April next year?

How old is it and are you the first owner?

    Thank you.

I have no idea but this is a replacement for my original one which became faulty. It's approx 4 weeks old.

    Thank you

Yes, but if this is a replacement for a faulty one, is that why there are two different warranty dates listed? And if so, which one applies?

Well the serial number from the replacement is what the screenshot shows so the manafacturer warranty is what you should go by. Which is a standard 12 months from when I got the replacement (around 4 weeks ago)

Hi, I’ve been looking up the warranty position on this and it seems that you don’t normally get another full years warranty if a Surface is replaced.

It seems it’s either 90 days or the balance of your original warranty, which ever is longer.

This is from the Microsoft website.

Fairly significant point though for anyone considering a purchase. What was the purchase date of the original machine that was replaced please?

    I won't take less than £700.

I entered the serial number of the replacement device onto the website the screenshot I posted in the OP is what it said. It clearly says 1 year left so it will be from then, this is also from the Microsoft site when I entered the serial number of the replacement device so.... obviously if it says that on the site Microsoft won't say it's a mistake and will honour it if anything should go wrong.

The original device warranty says :
    Manufacturer Warranty ends 07/24/2018

Original purchase date was around 7 months ago.

Whatever the way it turns out the price is still a bargain, as I say this model is going for over £1100 elsewhere, and it's a brand new replacement which is 4 weeks old.

I was interested in this, but you have an offer at the price you want now anyway, so if the buyer understands the warranty position then everyone’s happy.

    All the best.

Seeing as you have high feedback that is fine. I'll accept. Just to be clear I do not have the original box for it any more and you will need a 2 pin laptop plug that goes into the power adapter for the laptop. [IMG]
    It will be sent securely.

I am unable to find anywhere to send you a private message, how does one do it?

Yes I also read that as well, but it's showing what is left via the serial so I would go by what that says...

Sorry but I thought this came with everything but the surface pen. Now your saying you don't have the full charger and no packaging. This should have been mentioned in the original post. Can you tell me where you bought this and do you have proof of purchase?

Yeah I should of mentioned in my original post apologies. The thing with the charger is that when I sent my one back for replacement I sent my original box back with it and the charger but they only sent me the actual charging block (not the 2 pin plug) I didn't complain about it to them though as I had one lying around anyway.

I got it from PC World and no I don't have the receipt any more.

You can pass on the sale if you want no issues for me, the price is still superb minus the couple of little things. If it doesn't sell here I'll take it to ebay and get at least 1k for it, I just don't want the hassle of ebay so I tried here first.

    @DivineD

May I ask how many of these you have for sale bearing in mind you 'appear' to have sold this exact model over on OCUK to Ninja2000?

If you have two, can you please provide a pic of them side by side. Furthermore, can you please explain why you have two because that would seem to be overkill for personal use.

@Jeffp571, as you are receiving this prior to payment, I'm just alerting you as a matter of courtesy.

    Thanks

    • Classifieds : Withdrawing from an agreed deal
Hello yes sorry I've been busy and not had chance to get on here. I only have the one and I have now sold it at OCUK. The buyer did email me talking about it before I even accepted the deal on here with Jeff. Seeing as I haven't been paid anything on here for it I am not sure if I have broken any rules? I did say it was advertised elsewhere and as the seller I can choose who I sell it to.

    Apologies Jeff.
