    Maybe he was having another one of his 'Drunken Nights Off'. On his day he is probably one of the best & steadiest guitarists to watch and listen to. On a bad day, he is just laughable. The last time I saw him play was at the Manchester Apollo with UFO. He was smashed on stage, chased Phil Mogg around the mic stand, tried to give his guitar to Mogg and couldn't play a single note. All this happened in the 30 minutes they were on stage (it may have been less actually). The band left the stage to a chorus of boo's and whistles, only for Mental Mickey to return and thank the crowd for their Boo's. It was a sad night, but not unexpected.

    That was first ever time seeing Schenker & UFO. UFO stopped being good once I was old enough to see them, and Schenker very rarely toured the UK when he was good (or sober). At least it's one gig I'll never forget :rotfl:
