I have been using windows movie maker but it's limitations have caught up with me, ie I can't export edited movies back to my camcorder.

I have access to MGI videowave and would like to know how good this is from anyone who's used it. How user friendly is it and what are its limitations? I have the MGI software for editing digital stills (it came bundled with my Genius scanner) and find it very easy to use but basic.

    Thanks.

You'll find Videowave to be the same. It's OK user friendly, but depending what you want from your videos, probably too basic against say, Media studio pro 6.5.
