    Just thought the forum members and Arcam would like to know that after several desperate e-mails and posts on various forums concerning my MX 500 universal remote and it's failure to recognise my DV88+ at all, that a very nice member of this very forum called DWETTE answered the query that not even ARCAM or UNIVERASAL REMORE INC could answer, spent 5 days solid trying every code in the manual, learned direct from remote to remote, nothing, answer was simple, set the remote in the arcam on screen menu to other, arcam suggested I either buy another of their remotes or take the player in for repair! NOW YOU KNOW THE SOLUTION GUYS FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO ASKS. hip, hip hurray for DWETTE.

    I thought the answer was common sense myself.....i'm not using the Arcam remote, so i change the remote type to other...
