    I have a Meridian 561M.

When adjusting speaker levels how do you know what is the reference level?

Meridian (at least on the 561M) the volume goes from 0 to 100. not -X db to +X db.... So there isn't a 0 db to work with

    Any help?

    Thanks

I suspect the 561 is much the same as the 568 operationally, so providing that you have set your speakers to 75 db using the Meridian test tones, reference level is at 87 on the master volume control.

Also, if you use the display button on your remote control, you can cycle through different displays, one of which gives you a -X db figure (unfortunately if you want this display you have to do it each time using the remote).
