I am currently using Meridian M60's on all channels with a 565/562 combination but am considering changing to a power amp/ passive speaker configuration. I would appreciate any power amp recomendations ( other than the obvious Rotel route) to drive a set of celestion A series speakers (A3 front, A4 centre and A1 rears). Contenders identified to date are Roksan, Myrad, Nad, and Musical Fidelity - I would appreciate any comments members have on using hifi amps such as these for home cinema - and any other potential candidates for the power amp job?

    many thanks

    Hello.
Have a browse @ the Bryston range..I heard one of their multichannel power amps, it was fantastic.
    Also, try the Parasound units.
I own one, and they are great, with tank like build & performance.
    Enjoy your search.

    Adam.
