Memory stick problem

Can someone please tell me how to view films on my Humax Firefox HDR via the USB Memory stick input.
I formatted the memory stick to FAT32,have also changed the video format of the film file to MPEG2,and it still do not recognize the file when I try to play it.

The hdr needs two additional files to play back non-native video.

There's a utility here to create these files from a compliant video file

Thanks grahamlthompson will give it a go tonight.

Do I just place these files to the root of the Memory stick,and then try and play the Movie,or is there something else I need to do.

It's not that easy I am afraid, the help file will explain more. But the application needs a source file that has a compatible format. It then creates three files with the same name but having three different extensions .ts, .hmt and .nts. Once created you copy these to a usb device. With the usb drive plugged into the hdr go into media list, press red and select the usb drive. The new programme will look and play just like any other recording
