Anyone interested in meeting up for a few beers this year?

Personally i had a cracking time last year, and it'd be nice if we could get a few more people to come along this time.

    Any thoughts?

Manchester has many fine drinking establishments, and a certain little bar in Chinatown which has some worthwile sights:cool:

Also, plenty of places to stay over.

Clacket Lane services on the M25 would be ideal then.

Obviously I'd prefer a Nottingham/Sheffield venue but I have no problems going anywhere, although the far north of Scotland or Wales wouldn't be high on my list of meets.

Bugger. There I was ready to suggest the Isle of Skye too :rotfl:

I concur with Manchester. Never spent the weekend there so ideal for me......and only 37 days by car too.

Me neither, I don't know what it is about Birmingham, maybe it's just the name, but I always think of it as a grotty, industrial city.

It's come on loads in the last few years, but, i don't particularly like the more 'with it' areas of the city (Broad Street). Whenever I go there for a drink (once a year) we always stick to the back street boozers in Digbeth, that's where you see life!

I would be up for a meet but these things generally tend to die a death as the membership is extremely widespread :(

too right. Personally I favour Brighton not only near beacuse its near to me but also because its quirky, full of character and during May there is an arts festival:smashin:
