Meerkats, Prarie Dogs and a heron, oh and 56k hell

    comments welcome, i know the border is off white, lets not go there...

    All these were taken on a day out to Drusillas near Eastbourne, a nice little zoo type thing, all shot with canon 300d with Sigma 70-300mm APO II, most at F5.6 with varying ISO due to light.

    300D too, eat your heart out 20D'ers...there's life in them old models yet...and not a single bit of L glass.... :eek:

    thanks for the comments chaps, im very happy with these, made the day worthwhile.

    Johndm, thanks mate, as you say, not L glass and on a 300d, nothing wrong with the 300d or the sigma lens! if the light is good enough the sigma lens is great

    I agree with everyone else, those pics are fantastic Matt. I love the ones where the meerkat is looking at the camera. Real pro shots.
