Media portal green button

Hello, i just formatted my htpc as i was having probs with a driver, i got around to setting it all up today, installing media portal again, etc, i installed mptray to allow my mce remote to turn on media portal with the green button, then i realised it starts vista media center, so i tried disabling it like last time, with reg hack, and disabling the services for media center. No luck it still starts both programmes with green button, i cannot remember what i did last time, can someone point me in the right direction?

although i doont now the answer to your question, this media protal you speek of does it work on windows xp i dont have vista so have no media centre to load?

Yes you can, just search for media portal in google and should be the first result, from there you can find out more about it.

Wicked thats done the trick!, i did the same reg hack but site i read it off, told me to make an entry elsewhere hence it never worked, lol, cheers for that!
