Hi All.
Historically I have always built windows machines running Emby server and Theatre in order to watch all my media streamed from my NAS - HP Mini Pro-reliant server with 6Tb raided.

Just purchased an LG E6 (awaiting delivery) and need to upgrade my current media centre (ASUS vivomini UN42) as it's on-board graphics card cannot support 4K.

Now my "go to" move was to just upgrade to either the VivoPC VM62 or VivoPC VM62N.
Any other suggestions?

With the addition of my 4K HDR set i'd like to be able to stream VERY large files (Fifth element 90GB) at high data rates stutter & drop out free (video & audio).

Thanks.

For 4K @ 60HZ with HDR you need DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0b. At the moment only the latest video cards from Nvidia and AMD have this. These cards are targeted at the gaming market and so are large and power hungry. The smallest is the AMD RX 460 but this is still a full height double-width card. However this rules out going for a small form factor HTPC.
