media center 2005 on xp home?

    Anyone help please?Can i download wmc 2005 from net or do i have shell out?Can i also just install it on xp home?cheers.jay.

    i was wondering if i could put it on my pc as a dual boot thing, anyone done this?

    That would be illegal.
    It is an O/S so you would have it instead of xp home (or dual boot).

    Yes you can, but is probably more hassle than it is worth. MCE is more or less XP Pro with add-ons.

    The only difference that I know of between XP Pro and MCE is that with MCE you can't join domains - but theres a hack for that anyway.
