Cheers. I'm tempted but it's going to be fairly visible in a rack. I'm not sure about the shape of the 1000X3D. Will certainly consider it if I don't get offered an 800X3D.
No problem. FYI - the 1000X3D has an IR input port so you could hide the player altogether and just run an IR receiver to somewhere it could pick up a signal.
Due to the 1000 being a fanless design as opposed to the 800, I would personally get the one that's quietest, regardless of cosmetics.
What are you asking for that beefybarn, age, condition etc? If this is request for information on the thread is breaking any rules please delete.
Is the 800 really loud? Didn't think I'd notice the fan. Have been known to watch the odd Blu-Ray on the PS3 and it surely can't be any louder than that?
I'm not saying it's loud, just that I would get the player without the fan if I was buying. I own a 1000 and a 600 and never considered the 800 due to potential fan noise.
I have one with a 2TB hard drive installed, bought it for use in the caravan but not getting much use. Looking around £120 delivered with hard drive, will remove films before sale - might trade UHD films or other gadget stuff.
I'll get some pics. It works great and can't fault the picture or sound on my projector and Atmos set up.
