Medal of Honour or Blops? (Not multiplayer)

Question pretty much as title really.

I'm a bit of a solo warrior when it comes to games but also really dig co-op stuff. Never quite got into competitive multiplayer (because I'm crap at it and also because you can't pause the game to have a fag). I'm deciding between these two titles for a little christmas pressie from me....to me.

Enjoyed World at War for the campaign and then co-op campaign but found Zombies got veeeerrrrrryyyy long to complete a game.

MW2, quite enjoyed the campaign despite the 'footballers wives' plotline but got hours / days of class enjoyment out of spec-op's with mates.

Medal of Honour has got me interested due to getting 'Frontline' included but has it stood the test of time? p.s. would it mean I'd use up the online code?

I hear Blops has a top down mini game in it but apart from Zombies (which I'm not sure is my bag) I don't know much else about it. For example, Is there co-op in this one?

Help me out gents, I'm procrastinating! :D

ive got both and after 24 hrs with blops, i wanted to trade it in, i still do now, bought MoH yday and i prefer it by a long way

Blops is no MW/MW2, i think multiplayer is proper pants, too many campers, camping spots, too many obstacles on the map, too may kill streak rewards going off at once...its all OTT.

MoH however has a great story line, graphics are better, and its not trying to be something it aint, Treyarch has (IMO) spoilt the CoD series

Id spend money on MoH mate

Yet I disagree,

I played MoH and completed it on 'hard' in 4-5hrs. Blops was around 6-7hrs on regular. On vetern maybe a little longer.

MoH: the weapons sounded great and at times the graphics looked good. But I was sick of waiting for my Friendly AI to catch up with me so I could move on. or just killing everyone leaving me with nothing to do. The enemy AI was think as ****. and the levels you do like are over to quickly. And the story to ends with no really reason....

Blops: It's got a good story, good voice acting. The range of weapons are fun and great to use. The Friendly AI are less annoying than MoH. and the enemy are slighty better.

For me I'd go for BLops play it complete it and then trade it in for MoH. You won't loose much money this way around.

I gave blops another go on thurs nite, to see if i could be persuaded into liking it...no chance, within 30 mins, i felt like getting a compass and scratching the disc to bits. Its truely awful.....http://www.avforums.com/forums/call-duty-cod-ps3/1364739-petition-blops-refund.html shows other people also having a disliking to it, i put MoH on,and its a far better game, I WAS always a CoD player, and never gave MoH a look in, but after blops, well, that has changed. Its just...better, MoH is a simulator from what i gather, the game is at a life like speed, the weapons arent a mix n match of old stuff, and futuristic stuff. CoD is not what is was, its like the game has been rushed. MoH is well thought out, just you and a rifle/sidearm, no remote control cars, over powering choppers like on CoD, Ive got a copy of Blops for ps3 here if you want one fairly cheap. Ive had it 1 week, and already VERY willing to part with it......

MOH: great sound, decent graphics good storyline. but as mentioned above the enemy ai is poor and you have to wait to trigger the next event which is sometimes plagued by bugs. Gameplay wise i though it was really good if theyd taken just a bit more time to add more polish it would be a great game. for the sp only i'd give it around 7.5-8 out of 10.

BLOPS: poor graphics some scenes look like PS2 gfx, story is nothing original, i actually guessed the ending 3/4 of the way through. gameplay is nothing new and treyarch seem to try and copy infinity wards set peices but do it extremely poorly and seem to lack finesse. for sp only i'd give this a 5.5/6 at the most out of 10. im seriously conviced games journalists have been bought off to give the ridiculous mark of 8.5-9 out of 10.

Get them all second hand in CEX or Gamestation.
Anything is gonna be better than blops solo crap-pain mode.
its just a series of tunnels to shoot people in, got from a to b.
lame.

i'm gonna get BBC2 soon, I hear much goodness!

Just picked up MOH for £15 pre owned from a store called Grainger Games....only played the MP so far (as it is by DICE - who did the much better Battlefield games) so far I am loving it.......

I havent even seen the SP or Frontline, so I think this will be very decent value for money....

I enjoy Black Ops and play that on PC - SP was pretty good - MP is pretty good.....

I would get MOH on preowned if you can find a cheap copy and then wait another 6 months and pick up BLOPS

If you want amazing value for money then pick up The Orange Box.....:)
