In general, how does the gaming experience on PC compare with PS2?

My lad is 9. At the mo, he's happy with PS2. When the next generation comes out, it may be time to migrate to PC then....

I think the PC graphics are better and the loading times. The controls are more easier to. Half Life 2 is the game to buy. I think Allied Assault I think is supposed to be better than Pacific Assault, I have heard mixed reviews about Pacific assault but for £17.99 I had to buy it.
Raven Shield and Mafia are also good games that I have enjoyed on the PC.

I use www.gamestracker.co.uk to search for the cheapest place - quite a lot of good retailers on there but also check the ones who aren't.

If you're buying MoH:pA, then you must already have MoH:AA.

Feel free to visit The Killing Zone. We play Allied Assault, mostly Obj and Round Based with a bit of Freeze Tag thrown on at the weekends for a change.

    Details are at www.the-killing-zone.co.uk

    See you on the battlefield

Not yet played it as I've been a bit busy with the family.

I'd try running somewhere and seeing if you live. You haven't lost anything by trying something different.

By 'hiding', what does that mean?

you do not need MoH:AA to play MoH:pA at all.

MoH:pA is a totaly new game and is not en expansion pack like Spearhead etc were.

Game are selling it for £19.99 and i find that a good price as its £27.99 on Play.Com :)

I know its not an expansion pack. I've got AA, SH, BT and PA.

I just took it for granted that anyone who is considering buying PA would have AA. IMO if you just go out and buy the 4th game in a series, its a bit like buying Alien Ressurrection without seeing the other three first. :lesson:

    Whats the point?

well PA is totaly diff from the first 3 so it would not matter if you had played the first 3 at all.

In that you're killing Japs instead of Germans? And its in the jungle? The game play is still the same, is it not. You still have to complete your missions.

It aint soooo different as its still a MoH game. Even COD is similar, in that it was made by the 'breakaways' from EA.

I'll just get my coat, then.
