Are you thinking of doing anything to the edges?

I have a bit of work to do on it still, needs a bit of sanding and a coat of polish etc, may look at silver edges to match the rack, but got to get the RTP 15 sorted first.

Taz - May sound like a stupid question but is it not a bit flimsy?

Only ask as I built a desk very similar in design and you could blow on it, and watch it sway from side to side.

Although mine was a bodge it and leg it job, yours looks a lot more proffesional.

Flimsy it aint Shoka, to test it I climbed on top of it and jumped up and down and it didnt move at all, the back panel of the sub enclosure us doweld all round to prvent any movement in the top sections we worked out that even if the back panel had been 4mm ply it still would have taken the weight of the TV!

anyway, Mick is pictured stood on it and he weighs the same as a cadillac! :D

How much for the sub woofer, I like em a little bigger myself :)

Not sure if I read the thread correctly, if you made the equipment rack as well, what is the silver edging, paint... veneer or metal?

    Thx

    Vex.

Yes I made the rack myself, the edging is sold wood sanded untill very smooth, then I applied silver guilt cream as used on picture frames. The whole effect was to match the light wood and silver of my B&W's.

See here for rack details... http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32192

Yes mate it was / is :)

Taz, just asking- could you build me a large cab?

Say 1.5M high, 55cm wide, 50cm deep. How much would you charge? It'll need to be strong, hold about ~100KG.
