OK I got a 42PV500CAB. We have tried to get on but it isn't working.

Yes it does what it says on the box, yes its got a great freeview player, yes its got great speakers, yes the stand is brill and hides cables and it works great with XBMC via a network for pics and songs but.......

It's just so boring, nothing to fiddle with, even the rest of the family can use it. My only gripe is whites being too bright for me.

Can someone remind if this newsgroup has a small adds section?

I'm sure if you put it up for sale, it won't take to long to shift. Just remember to read the trading rules quickly before posting, as they are fairly strict :)

I found when setting my mates up that the contrast was around 30%, whites were far too bright.

it is as you say a great TV for those that just want to dump something down and get agood picture straight away, if you want to get an excellent picture and are prepared to tweak a little a panel is far better.

It's only a TV, just move it on and start again! :)
