MCE wont control my Sony Digibox

HI All

I have just tried setting up a mates new Advent media center. I could not get it to control his Sony sky box. I tried the normal procedure, then the learning one, but to no avail.

He had a IR Blaster, but not the genuine MS One. But the supplied one, was obviously communicated for it to say "the remote not recognised "

Any ideas?

It should recognise the remote as all Sky digiboxes use the same IR codes whatever the manufacturer. That is why all the remotes are the same.
