I've been searching through this forum, I'm sure someone said about setting up MCE to display the weather forcast but can't find it anywhere. Can someone please explain again?

Mind you, you could just put a caption up 'Bl00dy cold' at the moment.

    Ta,
    Jon.

It's a plug-in you can download and install.
I thought I had it in my download section on my site; but I've just checked and it look like I haven't put it up there yet.

you could have a look in www.thegreenbutton.com download section or google

Also, look here for other usefull plugins.
You might need to register with them for some of them though.

Thanks very much for the info guys, very much appreciated. Those weather screen shots look mighty impressive and some of the other downloads look very interesting too.

I guess that this is one of the strengths of MCE, lots of people all developing little add ons?

Someone suggested that MCE2005 have it's own sub forum a while ago. personally, I can see a very good case for this... (yeah, half height, vacuum display, with the words 'MY HTPC' lovingly stuck on in bright silver letters :) )

    Cheers,
    Jon.

Thanks MikeFish and the other contributers! I've installed this and it's excellent. It even knows about Banbury!

    You're welcome!
Cool isn't it? Although the weather predictions aren't all that accurate, the "current weather" seems to be spot on (just in case you don't have any windows!).
