MCE 2004 using with 16:9 TV

    I have connected my Sky+ box to my media center pc via s video.
    The resolution I have is 1280 x 768

    When viewing live tv my display is constantly squeezed into a 4:3 frame although i have changed all the settings to 16:9 within Media Center.

    Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated??

    On your Sky+ box, go >Services>System Setup>Picture Setttings

    The Second Location Picture Format is what's being sent down the S-Video cable, selecting 4:3L might fix your problem, or 16:9 might do it to.

    Press the i button on your remote and scroll through the different zoom options.

    Lisa, do you know what the three options actually are?

    My LCD has 4:3, 14:9, 16:9, Cinema, Subtitles, Super(something?) and Auto formats, so I'm now familar with the braodcast format changing - did take me by surprise at the beginning though :eek: .
