may upgrade from 37pw7, recommendations?

been told by girlfriend im allowed to upgrade my 37pw7 to something bigger .
not sure if i will yet.
i havent looked at plasmas in a long while and was wondering if pannys are still king.
are there any other 42" models i should look at at around £1500 maybe a little more.
been thinking of 42pw7 or pw8.
is there any difference between pw7 and pw8?
also any idea what a silver 37pw7 with component board and wall bracket will sell for?

well, for one, the pw8 will take HD (and scale it down) on the HDMI without needing a scaler or anything

one thing i wondered, is the picture as good on the larger screens as a 37" seeing as its the same amount of pixels over a larger screen?

tbh I haven't seen the 37" fora while, but the 42" is fantastic so I don't think you need worry about that!

Wont the PWD7 do the same thing...that is scale down a HD signal?? but not through HDMI??
