Looking at buying a LCD TV for the conservatory,at the moment my old telly CRT can not be played during the day due to light reflection problems.

Will i still get the same problem with LCD it's just any PC monitors i use at work in a well lit room never really give any refelction of light.Obviously i expect it to be better in the dark but if i can have all day viewing/gaming it justifys spending that bit more.

LCD TV's have a nearly matt screen and will reflect no more than your work PC monitor.
Try to avoid placing the TV in direct sunlight in your conservatory though.
