May I access the HD of the Panasonic DMR-EX79 Recorder by the PC?

It would be muche easier to handle the recordings by the PC.

Welcome to the forum.

Simply no.

DVD recorders are designed deliberately NOT to interface with computers.

The only way you can get recorded material OUT of a DVDR to a PC is via a disc medium.

This is a deliberate restriction of the whole DVDR concept.

No. it is not. You can get certain media files IN or play them FROM a stick but you cannot get video files OUT of DVDR by this method.
