Landscape is not an easy genre, but it's been a great excuse to study it and then get out and about and see some amazing places. Not all the pictures looked as amazing as the view first hand so I've learned a lot in the process. Anyway the month is up and it's time to put in an entry and for that I've picked one that I took in the remote and isolated Val Bavona valley. It's a night time landscape with the Milky Way in the sky and is a blend of two images, one taken late in the blue hour for the foreground and the sky much later. Both taken with a Samyang 24mm f 1.4 manual lens that does not register in the exif. The foreground is ISO 100 for 0.5s and the sky is ISO 3200 for 10s (!) Photo in next post.
