I want to hang a 37" Viera above a unused fireplace.

However i am worried that once it clears a centre speaker it will be mounted too high.

Any have any experiences of this problem. Currently i am looking at the bottom of the set being 125cm from the floor.

    Thanks

I'm about to mount my plasma next weekend above my fire opening and centre speaker with the bottom edge at 85cm from the floor. I think this is about right as I have a 20 months old son who has just started to watch Bob the Builder and other kids programmes and I didn't want him straining his neck. A tiltable wall bracket might help.

I initially had a 42" plasma at about that height but within a week I'd had it lowered to around 90cm from the floor as it was far too high and was causing neck problems from a sofa around 10' away.

Why not use a tilting wall bracket?
