Following on from a recent thread, I'm trying to send a video signal from a sky+ box to a second TV, 20 metres away. I'm wondering if it's possible to use Scart to do this and retain RGB.

Firstly, is there any reason why a 20m scart lead will not work. Is there anywhere I can buy one. Finally, if they are not available, would it be possible to make one up, maybe out of a couple strands of Cat 5 or something?

    Help.

I'm not sure how long you can run RGB, but if you did try with your own cable you'd want some small diameter 75ohm cable and a run of cat 5 for control signals etc. You'll need 4 runs of the something like Van Damme mini Van Damme red series 75 ohm ofc mini video multi .
