    Hi Mr X,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, have been travelling with work. I still havn't arranged mine yet - but I see that there are a few options:

1 is to get one of these:
    http://www.schmartstuff.com/sony-ps3-ir-upgrad.html
(Think they are out of stock though and hard to get)

2 is to get a IR PS3 remote and get the harmony to learn the controls from that instead of the Playstation 3 Bluetooth one:

    Have done anything yet?

    I use this one:

And I'm very satisfied. It's discrete, hardly take any space at all and works really well. Had it for almost a year now, and no problems. The only negative aspect is that I can't get the eject-button to work on the Harmony 1000.

Thanks for the kind words lads and apologies for not reverting earlier as I don't track this thread like others do theirs.

CinemaChap, I don't think mine is the Nabru sofa as the name is "Italsofa" , but they are similar and best of luck on getting yours.

Many thanks for the link Messiah.

I think I have to make a note to spend time and post new pics and clean up the start of the thread with the most up to date pics and they do look very messy. *something else to do over xmas*

:D i need a job! your room is fantastic!! The image quality looks superb, i need to get my parents to hurry up and get out of a rented house!
I have one question though, earlier in your post you said you went in to look at the harmony 1000 remote and hated it...now you have one?
    Once again fantastic!

    Thanks Facial.

Good question in relation to the Harmony 1000 and I can explain that.

I always wanted one initially after seeing them on the web, but never got a chance of seeing them in the flesh to see what size in my hand and what quality they were. So I was then on a business trip in Germany and got to see a display one and it was "plastic" and ugly as hell, but I didn't have the time to ask an assistant to see a real one out of a box. It was basically a fake version of the real thing, but it put me right off.

After seeing one for a bargain on ebay, I then got another user to post up high res photos of their harmony and I could see that it was the quality I wanted it and then went and bought...and very happy I did. The quality is excellent and exactly how I wanted it.

Personally there are only 2 drawbacks to it 1. you have to keep looking at the screen to select what you want 2. the battery life isn't that great and the constant charging gets a bit grating.

    Sorry for the ramble...

The new cabinet looks great Max. Using it for media storage rather than as a kit rack is a good idea, keeps those distracting LED's out of the way.

Now, let me guess which seat is yours. :D

Thanks Mate, I have the other rack built into the wall for my kit and I just wanted this cabinet for the media storage and really to finish it off a but better.

Thanks Alex, the sofa is so versatile and a great buy, we are delighted with it - especially when numbers arrive to watch a movie, its easy to accomodate them.

Cheers Alz and thanks for the kind words, God I hope you are happy with it if you bought based on my recommendation:rolleyes: But I love mine, so I hope you are happy with yours.

Max you've got the rack - looks great! Was it built by your father-in-law in the end ? A shedload of boxed sets you've got there too.

Now I thought I had a nice cinema, until I saw your's!! That is a great large tidy cinema you got there!! Very nice work . And what a whopping great projection screen too, blu ray must look incredible!! :smashin:. I love the way you have plenty of storage and the mini bar/sweet section is a brilliant addition!!:D.

I also notice you have the Logitech Harmony 1000 remote. I'm planning on getting one of these as i'm getting so fed up with loads of different remotes to turn on, select inputs etc :thumbsdow, its driving me nuts!!! Could I ask if this is a good remote to invest in?? Has it worked ok for you asuming you've had no problems with it?? I'm deciding on the 1000 over the 1100 purely for its price and I don't think i'd use the 1100 to its full potential!!

Brilliant system you have and love the room!!!
