My Dad is conisdering buying a Matsui
DVD-110 DVD Player as all he wants it a cheap and cheerful player (It is £110 now).

    My question is this -

Can the Matsui DVD-110 DVD Player output NTSC Discs as Pal 50 or Pal 60, as my Dad's TV cannot except an NTSC input.

I have found a region hack but I need to also if it can output NTSC Discs as Pal 50 or Pal 60.

    Alex

    p.s - Happy Christmas HCC

What is is that DSG (that's Curry's, Dixons, PC World, The Link) have got that makes people flock through their doors?

They are ALWAYS expensive. So, if they're selling you their OWN BRAND hardware for £110 guess what it's really worth. Oh, and if they tell you it's been reduced from £<more>, then it still isn't worth what you're being asked to pay, now.

Matsui is Taiwanese for Utter Cr*p. Avoid.

I would agree. But he doesn't like spending alot of money on hardware at all (all his equipment apart from his main hi-fi is Matsui).

I'm not a fan but he is.

Anyway back to the question I asked?

I thought I'd reply and say that it outputs
PAL60 but as long as you have a Scart cable
that is fully wired you can play R1 discs
in colour. If you don't you'll only get a
    B/W picture
