I know the Marvel is a little slow for games but picture quality seems pretty good plus it has a tv tuner built in and good support for dvd ?

I have just purchased the PT-AE200 from PJ and want to run it from the Matrox. I have not connected it to anything yet

Matrox has their own tweak utility that lets you select the screen resolution.

Is it ok to use the matrox util or should I be using powerstrip?

I am asking because most games will only offer 640x480, 800x600 etc. This means the game will just scale to that resolution whereas powerstrip may scale it back ???
