Can't wait for Matrix Revolutions either :)

If you're also into LOTR the first cinema trailer gets released soon :)
Annnnnd even better news is they will be doing some marathon runs of all 3 LOTR movies back to back on the 16/17 december! I believe they will be showing the extended versions! Bonus! :D

And then there's the Aliens quadrilogy....

Do you have a source for this, been trying to find out if they will be EEs.

I read the official announcement about the US screenings but havent found any info about over here.

    Being searching myself...
I read about the EE's being shown in the US /Canada in another thread on this forum so they may have been speculating on them showing them over here.

Somene on another forum said that UCI may be showing the trilogy over here during Jan '04. Presumably this is because there is only a limited run on the Extended Ed. prints being made which will be shown in the US this December.

Now if they could show the entire Matrix trilogy back to back aswell... :)

What a treat we all have ahead of us, revolutions next week, I can't wait, then the third lotr, would pay a hell of a lot to get my hands on it now.
IMO tlotr will be a lot better from a story point and a lot more emotional and will really make you get into the film, the 3rd matrix just looks like a load of action sequences, very good i admit and worth watching, more smith scenes, more havic. I mean i love the action but i think tlotr def wins my vote.

I know my local Cineworld cinema is having a Matrix theme day. They are showing Matrix, Osiris, Reloaded & Revolutions almost back to back.

Cineworld do this quite a lot. They do things like showing ALL the Star Trek films in one weekend when Nemesis came out and the same with Bond movies. They also showed all the Starwars films when AOTC was released.

I would think (hope) LOTR will get the same treatment.

    Yeah Man!

Going to see it at 3 o clock tomorrow!

And I haven't seen a single second of footage from the movie, so I have no idea what to expect (more of the same obviously, yeah I know). Can't wait...

I just hope for more action and less filler*!

    * all attempts at inserting a storyline into the movie to seperate action scenes

I'm going to see it at 2 o clock tomorrow ;)

Only booked 5 minutes ago. It's the first screening in my local cinema so I thought it would have sold out already  Later screenings have but I thought all the students would have skipped college/uni for the day and gone to see the Matrix - it's what I did at Uni :D

I just got back from watching it. It really wasn't what I expected.

I won't comment further till others have seen it, don't wanna be accidently spoiling it for anyone.

You would think so, but the reason I'm going at 3 and not 2 is cos I have to wait for a student to finish uni so she can come with me!

I'm going to see it tonight at Warner Village in Park Royal. You might say I'm sad but I called the cinema to find out the best screen and screen 1 is THX certified. I saw saw Kill Bill in screen 9 ( same size as screen 1 ) but the sound was too loud and there was too much high frequency.

I saw reloaded at screen 5 at Warner W End in THX and digital projection, but i found the sound a little subdued, booked for Revolutions tommorow night at the same screen, lets hope its a little louder.

    Just seen it......

And I thought it was a BIG let down
As for the defence of Zion, was that meant to be a complete joke or what???
Sentinels (fast slithering death) would've wiped out all those lame ass APU's (ie Aliens Lifter ripoffs) in seconds, and didn't one the idiots think to keep a 'Last Resort' EMP back at Zion???? What an embarrassingly bad end to the trilogy.

    Revolutions = Anti Climax

(Persephone's Cleavage  was ok though ;) )
