3rd film follows on straight after 2nd (chronologically, I think)
it will be released 6 months after 2nd film (again I think)

neither film will be straight to video though!

can see a nice looking six disk boxset coming in the future though!
(prob same time as the 12 disc LOTR and 12 disc star wars boxsets!:D

    That'll be an expensive year!!!:)

The second instalment is in May 2003, with the third one in
Nov / Dec of the same year.

Isn't this meant to be coming out on DVD very soon after release? I believe i read it would be out just 3 months after it opens in theaters.

Anyone know when the Animatrix DVD is hitting the shelves?
I'd guess first quarter next year but haven't heard a specific date as yet.

Animatrix is the Matrix. It will be 9 different episodes done by 9 different directors, each having its own style. From Japanese animation style, to Final Fantasy computer generated.

Each story will be different, but all will be set in the Matrix world, though with different charaters. The teaser trailer actually looks very good.

They will be released on DVD sometime in 2003...don't know when though...

I'm bored with the Matrix. Every action film that has come out of Hollywood since has done the effects and stylizations in it too death. I find it all very tedious now.

I don't think the next two films can live up to peoples expectations. It's going to be the last two star wars films all over again. Moan Moan Moan not as good as the Matrix, Blaa Blaa Blaa ripping us off with all these versions on dvd.
