Massive Games clearout at asda all on different platforms games from a fiver fallout

My mate has just phoned me he picked up fallout 3 on the ps3 for a fiver star wars force unleashed £4.50 ps3 fable2 £5 on the 360
batman on the wii a fiver loads of games for the ds as well just going for silly money

he has said games are just massively low he was going to pick up red faction put it back spent 40 quid and bought 7 games some look like they are not to be sniffed at either he said he asked and these are at all asdas stores

Ok, here's the thing.

The games and prices are store specific and they vary. A lot.

So, your store, or any store in your region, might have NO games at these prices, or just one store might, or they all might.

Then, the prices vary from store to store, because they are based around stock levels. More stock = more urgency to clear out at a cheap price to make shelf and stockroom space.

To prove this point, I got Fallout 3 from the Wythenshawe branch 2 days ago for £10. Don't bother visiting it because I rinsed the shelves in a spending frenzy

Hence why things are on my 'recently played' list that I wouldn't normally touch with a bargepole, e.g. MK Vs. DC Universe 'cos I got that for a tenner as well

It's very hit and miss, keep checking though if you can because a couple popped up in my local when I was in today.

Because a while ago I went to get Mirrors Edge but I could not find it, they have a sale section with the games there.

From my experience in 2 stores they're seperate from the chart games.

ME is £12 in our local Asda (Broadheath, Altrincham) and had non of the above....

Although I did get the new Morrissey album for £5 for someone, so not a wasted 10 min trip.

bassit--- they are in the the front where the greeter stands in the cockhedge one, though theres nothing any good, alot of gran turismo which is priced at 16 so nothing relly worth getting.

(all ps3) Saints row 2(PS3) was cheap to but cant remember how much it was.

Asda Robroyston - Had a sale section at the end of one of the isles and looks like an elephant had hit it, games all over the place, looks like all the good deals have been snagged.

You should have made the extra 10 mins drive to Coatbrig and got Pacific Rift for £9, if you don't already have it of course.

Seems like some good deals in the fort, never been in there before I'll need to have a look.

Nothing at Lower Earley of any note either. Just lots and lots of 2nd hand games sold as new (discs removed from boxes, used as frizbees then sold as new).

Discs are usually fine, ask them for a look at it if in doubt. No point in complaining about nothing on here it won't help
