Martin Logan Sequel II Speakers MINT!

I am selling a pair of Martin Logan Sequel II Speakers. These speakers were lightly used in an open living room for occasional small parties and events. Mostly played classical and jazz. We just swapped out for a smaller pair of Martin Logan Electrostatic speakers which would not obstruct from our lovely view of the city. These are 100% working. Local pickup would be best but can ship if the buyer is willing to pay the freight. Any questions please ask, thank you!

    Hi,

Perhaps an odd post to add in this thread, but am contemplating upgrading system from current Monitor Audio Silvers. Haven’t heard electrostatic, but it “seems” they do hold some exotic charm both aesthetically & musically.

Am only indulging in wild guess here, that they sound more “warm/refined” over “conventional” lot. How would you describe they sound?

    Regards

yes the martin logans are very good best of both worlds as they are a hybrid, but they need good power to drive them that's what I found when I had a pair. granted it was 12 years ago might be different now..

    regards o..

Thanks for your reply. So in your view, will Marantz 7011 be able to drive them or do I need to upgrade/add additional amps? Regards

yeah the Marantz will drive the logans and will probable sound nice had a Marantz myself so not short of power. but what you might find is with normal speakers you have say the volume at 10 for listening with the logans that would be 15 to 20 for the same volume that's what I found anyways. so I went two power amps in mono configuration one amp for each speaker that sorted things out I found..

    regards o..
