I've got a music CD which was recorded off a music DVD, but although there are 9 songs on it, there are no gaps in between so it is basically one long track. Does anyone know if it is possible to rerecord it putting markers in between the songs to give me the 9 individual tracks ? Thanks :)

Sounds (pun intended :) ) like you need an audio editor. Can only think of Audacity; but it can split audio files, which is what you are wanting.

NERO can do this on your PC. I suspect that most audio burning software will.

You will need to create a new CD though as it involves creating a new 'file' on your PC which is then burnt to a CD etc.

Other software can be found at www.download.com some free some not depending on how complex it is.
