Richer Sounds are offering this for £1299.95, does anyone have any previous experience of this model.

    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=300254

I also noticed they say it doesnt come witha remote control, but the Marantz site says it does. I have e-mailed them and awaiting a response on this currently.

Would the fact that it only seems to take an S-video input be a big problem with a projector, yes I've never owned one yet?

    Cheeers,

    Bill.

It wouldn't be my choice for HC :nono:

    800x600 (SVGA) resolution - only 4:3 panel.

    350:1 CR

    2000 hrs lamp life.

Added to this, it's £500 more expensive than an AE100

Not seen any reviews, but I'd definitely look at something else.

    :hiya:

I was thinking of the panasonic, it would be ideal for my budget . I see that you can get it for around $800 but when I asked Sound and Vision they said they dont deliver to Northern Ireland, only the mainland. So unless I can find another source.....

I really have a budget of around a grand or thereabouts, and there is a Richer Sounds in Belfast, so I was just checking out what they had. I hadn't heard anything on the Marantz before.

I see you have upgraded from the panasonic, have you sold your old one yet?

    Cheers,

    Bill.
