Marantz SR6300 vs SR5300

Im looking to finally purchase the Marantz SR5300 but I now am stuck as Ive come across the SR6300

The only real differences "That I Can See" between the 2 is the SR6300 has 10 more WPC & also has a learning remote but other than that, not a lot - is this right ? if so, does it warrant me to pay an extra £80.00 for this or stick to the SR5300 ?

Also has A and B speaker connections, great fro bi- wiring.

 

you dont use A & B for Bi-wiring, you should use A only !!!

You can do either Lee.

Option 1 is to use just A, and either piggy back connectors or push both sets of cable into one pair of connectors.

Option 2 is to use both sets of outputs, and select A+B.

I too once thought that, however, to ensure I did it right, I phoned up Mission & they told me that I should only ever use A & never A & B. Only confirming what they told me, as im definately no expert
