Marantz SR5400

I have been reading through everyones posts as I'm trying to find a good match for my system and was wandering if anyone could give some advice.

Im looking at a Marantz SR5400 amp, Mordaunt Short Premier speakers and a NAD C521BEE CD PLAYER. Would this system be OK.

Any suggestions welcome, budget around £750 depending upon misses mood.

IM assuming you already have a dvd player. If its a cheap one you can get the new limit players with a 20% discount for av forum members and they make good cd players as well as they are turned by cyrus. Maybe kill 2 birds with one stone and the missus will be impressed with you getting it 20% cheaper!! lol

Otherwise you have a nice package there. Get some good cables to go with it .
