Hi,
I'm considering purchasing a Marantz SR5400. Reading a few reviews I see that some amps upconvert video? I understand that this allows you to feed the amp with ,say, a composite video signal but still drive the TV via the S-Video or Component output on the amplifier.
Does the Marantz support this facility?
On a similar note - Are their any AV amps which support RGB switching? Component is v.nice but I don't believe a normal WS TV supports this format (although it seems to be common with plasmas).
