I hope someone can help. I have a SR-5200 with crackly sound through the digital output. I've taken it to my local electrical repair place but although they're confident they could fix it, they need the service manual and Marantz won't release it.

Does anyone know of anywhere I can get hold of the service manual?

Marantz only have 4 authorised repairers and they're miles away from me so I'd rather get it done locally.

Many thanks

Why don't you let marantz repair their amp? i would not want anyone else to touch my marantz!! Beside, they may update the firmware while at it.

It's 5 yrs old and worth about £100 - not worth the hassle of sending it off (I've not got the box) , I'd rather just get it done locally.

I have the manual for my sr5200 is that the same as the service manual?
