Marantz M-CR603 with Samsung Soundbar???

My parents have a marantz cd receiver m-cr603 and have usually had it plugged in to two amplifiers.
They have now upgraded to a Samsung Soundbar T400 which links via Bluetooth to their TV. Is there anyway of connecting the marantz to the soundbar?
We have tried an optical audio cable with no luck.
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi. Unfortunately, I don't think there is. The Marantz has RCA outputs, but your soundbar doesn't have these inputs.
The only other signal out from the Marantz is the headphone socket, but again I don't think your soundbar has a suitable input.

Unfortunately not. The optical connection on the Marantz is an input not an output connection. The only output on the Marantz is the analogue Aux output and the Samsung does not have an analogue input

Personally I’d dump the T400, buy some good speakers and use the Marantz as the hub. The tv can be connected via its optical output to the Marantz. It’s a very ‘average’ sound bar. It’s certainly not an upgrade.
