Thanks for posting. I couldn't get the bugger today as the dealer had a problem with the multi-region software. They've now ordered it from Marantz so fingers crossed, I'll be set for Monday. Incidentally, this seems to contradict that review, which suggests it's multi-region already?

I also thought I should check that this player does NTSC progressive. The review says PAL, but quite often I've noticed they just don't bother to mention NTSC. Unfortunately the Marantz website is no clearer and I know that there are some players that do one or the other, so I thought I should check. Can anyone enlighten me?

Cheers. :)

Anyone compared one of these to a Denon 1910?
I'm interested how these similar priced products compare.

Auditioned a 4300 and a 1910 the 4300 is defiantly more musical than the 4300 but just as good with pictures. i would now go with the new Marantz range over the Denon the 2005 line up is stonking
Regarding multi region coding in the uk this is done by your dealer with a Marantz disc to unlock the firmware
no uk spec player is multiregion ready without this interaction

Mark can you read what you posted and edit it please.
