    Esteemed HiFi guru's....

Can any of you chaps tell me your thoughts & opinions on this player?

Most of the music i listen to is Soul, Electro, Pink Floyd with a dash of Leftfield.

I like the 'natural' 'neutral' 'honest' type of source sound.

    Cheers for any replies.

I had the mkII KI for a while. Nice player...but certainly more warm that dead-on neutral. Can really tap into the emotion of a song. As a former Meridian man you may find it not as detailed as you'd like...

Dan. Thanks for that mate. I had a feeling it may be a typical Marantz type of sound (warm / analogue)

Just a case of narrowing down the suspects until i find the kind of sound that i like.
