I hope this is in the right forum - if not sorry.
OK it's old it's a PM-44 not the SE version. I cannot get the left speaker to work for love nor money. For the size of my room it is sufficiant before anyone poo-poo's - I know it's not gret but it has done it's job for 10yrs.
I can get the left speaker to crackle on headphones but won't play anything other than faint noise through the left speaker.
I am thinking dust/dirty interior, dry joint or possibly a circuit breaker which I believe this model had inside - cheapy naffo, I know! My Bro and I have been trying to figure it out but wondered if anyone can please add any sensible advice? I don't want to take it to be repaired as many moons ago I got my electronics servicing exams and will repair myself if required. Just a bit rusty at diagnosing.
