I must admit I have been watching this to see if it's worth buying one myself.

    Cheers,

    Cheers guys :)
I think the frequency range would limit it's use for our needs :( Oh well back to the drawing board.

    Mylo,

I was one of the 118, but I don't have an opinion on whether the unit is any good. I looked at the post because this is the bargains forum and I thought that it might be worth a purchase.

Perhaps the other 117 did the same.

I'm sure that you didn't want a load of replies from people saying, 'I've never used it, I don't know if it's any good...'. If everyone did this, you'd be getting notified of a reply every 5 minutes and would probably be upset that people were 'thread spoiling'.

No offence intended, I just think that this is not the right way to get people to help.

    Cheers,

    Ben.

    Noodle, no offence taken. :)
Just that it does appear the special offer forum is inhabited by tourists sometimes. One post before my own reply might have been nice though  Like Horny I invest a fair bit of time trying to be helpfull on these forums and occasionally I need help back.

    Cheers, Mylo

Horny, cheers for the Cornwall link :smashin:

Mods please delete as it's not such a special offer after all.
