After doing some reading in this section, and as I'm on a budget anyway, I've decided to get some cheap speaker cable from Maplins.

I'm going to get a Denon AVR-1905 receiver so do I need to get some terminations for this or will it take bare wire quite easily?

Also I've just bought some AE Aesprit speakers which can be bi-wired. If I buy this cable is it worth buying double what I need so I can bi-wire or should I just not bother bi-wiring? Bit of a contentious issue I know but just wondering what the view on this setup would be. Thanks.

Bare wire will be just fine into the Denon although it will be a bit fiddly.

Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend buying twice as much cable for biwiring but it may be worth replacing the connection bars on the back of the speakers with a short length of the speaker cable. :)
