When Infinity Ward say that map packs are available to download. How many maps will get from one purchase?

Using COD4 and WaW as a guide.

The map packs contain 4 maps. (with WaW it was different as they offered 3 MP maps and one Zombies map).

The maps packs for those games were all in the 800meg region.

Saying that looking now the COD4 map pack was 444 meg so it looks like Zombies was making the WaW map packs this large.

They have all previously cost £8, but if you buy the prepayed cards from thehut using quidco you effectively will get them for £6.16

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 New Map Pack Info Released!

I have some information on the map names for the new upcoming map packs, there is going to be a playlist called Team Deathmatch - DLC with all the new maps in it, there will be six maps included with the names of :

Revolt
Complex
Storm
Abandoned
DCWH
Compact

------------------------------------
Those are the internal names for the maps. I have no idea what the real name is yet.
Soon i will post gameplay of these maps before release, please post all of your other information on the new map packs coming out.
There are rumors going around that the new maps will be old maps from CoD 4 and CoD : WaW.
These are possible maps for the internal names, if you have any ideas post here and i will update the post for you.

The guy is just guessing, i think he found six map names and is guessing what they can be. No concrete info, no pictures of maps and it's pure speculation really.

The maps are called Revolt, Complex, Storm, Abandoned, DCWH, and Compact.

No info other than that really.

I think the COD4 maps should be free... if I wanted to play COD4 maps, I'd play COD4... I already know my way around those maps and have played them for months on end, why make me pay $10 for just 4 of them again...

Definitely buy the new ones though.

Shipment wouldn't work imo.
Just think of the Chopper Gunner,Pavelow or AC130 on this map

If someone could get 11 kills in a row on this map, I say they fully deserve to get the chopper gunner.

Plus how is getting the AC130 or chopper gunner on shipment any different to Rust?

I bet Nighthawk could!

I avoid playing Rust on MW2 and I avoided playing Shipment on COD4, my brain doesn't work that quick. If there's going to be an MW2 map pack with Shipment in it then there's not really much point me buying it as I'll never play it.

Off the top of my head, favourite maps for me on COD4 were Overgrown, Crossfire, Crash, and Bloc.

Easy enough I reckon with the right Killstreaks. Say 5 predator and on that map that should get you 3 kills min.

You would just respawn and just constantly be killed though.

At least on Rust there are a fair few spots to hide.

The maps in that game were so good. Vacant was my favourite, just absolutely brilliant fun to play it.

Ambush, Bog, Crash.Crossfire,Pipeline,Showdown,Strike,Vacant.

All great maps.
I have Played COD2 now for longer than COD1 and the maps on COD2 are not really grabbing me.
